Klavox 228 mg/5ml Suspension (70 ml) is an antibiotic used to treat sinusitis, otitis media, tonsillitis, and other bacterial infections in the body, such as urinary tract infections (UTIs).
Klavox Suspension Ingredients
Each 5 ml of Klavox suspension contains:

Amoxicillin (200 mg): A penicillin-class antibiotic that eliminates the bacteria causing the infection.

Clavulanic Acid (28.5 mg): Maintains the antibiotic's activity and protects it from being broken down by bacterial enzymes.
Klavox Syrup Uses

Respiratory tract infections, such as sinusitis, otitis media, pneumonia, or tonsillitis.

Urinary tract infections (UTIs).

Skin and soft tissue infections.

Klavox Syrup Dose for Children

Children weighing 12 – 16 kg: 5 – 10 ml every 12 hours.

Children weighing 17 – 26 kg: 10 – 15 ml every 12 hours.

It is preferable to take the medication at the start of a meal to reduce gastrointestinal side effects.

Do not take Klavox for more than 14 days. If there is no improvement, a doctor must be consulted.
