Keppra 100 mg/mL Oral Solution is an antiepileptic medication containing the active ingredient Levetiracetam at a concentration of 100 mg/mL. It is used to help control epileptic seizures in adults and children, and can be used alone (monotherapy) or in combination with other antiepileptic drugs, depending on the type of seizures, patient age, and the physician's clinical assessment.

How to Use Keppra 100 mg/mL Oral Solution (300 mL)

• Use strictly according to your physician's instructions.

• Dosage is determined based on the patient's age, body weight, medical condition, and renal function.

• Taken orally twice daily, maintaining consistent dosing times as much as possible.

• May be taken with food or on an empty stomach.

• Use the included oral syringe to measure the exact dose accurately.

• Do not discontinue treatment abruptly without consulting your doctor, as this may increase the risk of seizure recurrence.

Precautions and Warnings

• Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to levetiracetam, other pyrrolidone derivatives, or any of the excipients.

• Inform your physician immediately if you experience changes in mood or behavior, symptoms of depression, or suicidal ideation.

What are the Side Effects of Keppra?

Most Common Side Effects:

Drug Interactions

• Levetiracetam has a low potential for drug interactions compared to many other antiepileptic agents.
