Ingredients of Dolvic-K

Each Dolvic-K tablet contains 50 mg of the active ingredient "Diclofenac Potassium", a Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID) that reduces inflammation and alleviates pain.

What is Dolvic K 50mg used for?

Dolvic-K is used to reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation in cases of:

  • Rheumatoid Arthritis.

  • Osteoarthritis.

  • Gout.

  • Lower back pain.

  • Ankylosing Spondylitis.

  • Migraines.

  • Sprains.

  • Sports injuries.

  • Tendonitis.

  • Pain associated with dental and orthopedic surgeries.

Dolvic K 50 mg Dosage

  • The physician determines the appropriate dosage of Dolvic-K.

  • Standard Adult Dose: 75–150 mg daily, divided into 2 to 3 doses.

  • For Migraine Relief (Adults): 50 mg at the first sign of a migraine attack. If symptoms persist after two hours, an additional 50 mg may be taken. Subsequent doses should be spaced 4–6 hours apart. Do not exceed 200 mg per day.

  • Headache.

  • Dizziness.

  • Vertigo.

  • Nausea.

  • Vomiting.

  • Dyspepsia (Indigestion).

  • Abdominal pain.

  • Skin rash.

Contraindications

Dolvic-K should not be used in the following cases:

  • Hypersensitivity to any of its components.

  • Active stomach or intestinal ulcers, bleeding, or perforation.

  • A history of gastrointestinal bleeding or ulceration related to previous NSAID use.

  • The last trimester (three months) of pregnancy.

  • Hepatic impairment.

  • Renal impairment.

  • Heart failure.

  • Patients with a history of asthma, angioedema, urticaria, or acute rhinitis precipitated by aspirin, ibuprofen, or other NSAIDs.

Drug Interactions

Inform your physician or pharmacist of all medications you are taking before starting Dolvic-K, especially:

  • Lithium.

  • Digoxin.

  • Diuretics.

  • Antihypertensive medications.

  • Blood thinners (Anticoagulants).

  • Diabetes medications.

Storage and Handling

  • Keep out of reach of children.

  • Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
