What is Defonex nasal spray used for?
Defonex spray is used for the treatment of:

Symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis.

Perennial allergic rhinitis.

Nasal polyps.
How to Use Defonex Spray
For Seasonal and Perennial Allergic Rhinitis:

Adults and children over 12 years: Two sprays in each nostril once daily.

Children aged 6 - 12 years: One spray in each nostril once daily.
For Nasal Polyps:

Adults and children over 12 years: Two sprays in each nostril once daily.

If symptoms do not improve after 5 - 6 weeks, the dose may be adjusted to two sprays in each nostril twice daily.
Defonex Spray Side Effects
Defonex spray may cause some side effects, such as:

Nasal or throat irritation.

Sneezing.

Nosebleeds (Epistaxis).

Headache.
Contraindications
Defonex nasal spray should not be used in the following cases:

Hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients.
