Axepta Dosage

Starting Dose (Children & Adolescents): 0.5 mg per kilogram of body weight daily, increasing after 3 days to 1.2 mg per kilogram daily.

Adults: 40 mg once daily, which may be increased if necessary to 80–100 mg daily.

The capsules can be taken in the morning or divided into two doses (one in the morning and one in the evening).

The medication can be taken with or without food.
