Aquipta ingredients

Each Aquipta tablet contains 60 mg of atogepant, which helps reduce migraine attacks by blocking the activity of calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) associated with migraines.

What is the use of Aquipta 60mg?

Aquipta is used for the prevention of migraine attacks.

AQUIPTA 10 mg  Dosage

  • The usual dose: One 60 mg tablet daily.

  • The medication can be taken with or without food.

  • Consult your doctor before discontinuing the medication, as stopping it suddenly may lead to the return of symptoms.

  • The doctor may adjust the dosage in cases of kidney disorders.

Aqulipta 60 mg side effects

Atogepant (Aquipta®) may cause some side effects, including:

  • Constipation.

  • Drowsiness.

  • Loss of appetite.

  • Weight loss.

  • Nausea.


Can you lose weight on Aquipta 60 mg?

Aquipta can cause loss of weight. It’s one of its side effects but it is used mainly for migraine not for weight loss.

It’s not common for Aquipta to cause weight gain, as it may reduce the appetite.
