A-Lax is a laxative used for the treatment of constipation.
One tablet once or twice daily, or as directed by the physician.
A-Lax tablets may cause some side effects, such as:
Abdominal cramps
Diarrhea
Stomach discomfort
Hypokalemia (low potassium levels in the blood)
A-Lax tablets should not be used in:
Use for more than two weeks
Patients with colon disorders or intestinal obstruction
Patients with hypokalemia (low blood potassium)
Patients with heart or kidney problems
Children under 12 years of age
Pregnant or breastfeeding women
A-Lax tablets should not be used with certain medications, such as:
Diuretics
Digoxin
Warfarin
Horsetail herb
Licorice
Other herbal laxatives
Keep out of the reach of children.
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C.
Do not use the medicine after the expiry date.
