Seroquel XL is used to treat:
Schizophrenia
Bipolar disorder
Major depressive episodes in major depressive disorder (in combination with other antidepressants)
The dosage varies depending on the patient's condition and the doctor's instructions.
The daily dose ranges from 150 to 800 mg.
The tablets are taken once daily.
It is preferable to take the medication on an empty stomach (one hour before or two hours after a meal).
Do not stop taking the medication even if you feel better, unless instructed by your doctor.
The dose should be gradually reduced over 1–2 weeks to avoid withdrawal symptoms such as headache, irritability, nausea, and insomnia.

Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following after taking Seroquel XL:
Neuroleptic malignant syndrome (characterized by high fever, severe muscle stiffness, and sweating)
Uncontrollable movements, especially of the face or tongue
Severe dizziness or drowsiness
Seizures
Prolonged and painful erection (priapism)
Consult your doctor before taking Seroquel with any other medications, especially:
Blood pressure medications
HIV medications
Antifungal drugs
Epilepsy medications
Diuretics
Antibiotics
Keep out of reach of children
Store at a temperature below 30°C
