Byannli injection contains the active substance paliperidone, an antipsychotic agent that helps relieve the symptoms of schizophrenia.
Byannli injections are used to:
Treat schizophrenia.
Reduce the risk of relapse of schizophrenia symptoms.
The injection is administered into the gluteal muscle (buttocks) once every 6 months.
The doctor may increase or decrease the dose depending on the patient’s symptoms and condition.
Byannli injections may cause some side effects, such as:
Difficulty sleeping
Cold-like symptoms
Urinary tract infection
Breast swelling in men
Erectile problems
Irregular menstrual periods in women
High blood sugar levels
Weight gain or loss
High blood pressure
Increased heart rate
Pain, swelling, or itching at the injection site
Do not use Byannli injections if you have:
Hypersensitivity to any of its components
Allergy to risperidone
Use Byannli with caution if you have any of the following conditions:
