Femara ingredients

Femara contains "letrozole", which helps increase estrogen levels by inhibiting the enzyme "aromatase", which reduces the synthesis of strogen, helping to treat estrogen-dependent breast cancer.

Femara uses

Femara 2.5 mg tablets are used for the treatment of estrogen-dependent breast cancer in the blood as follows:

  • Adjuvant treatment for early hormone +ve breast cancer postmenopausal.

  • extended adjuvant treatment for women with early breast cancer after menopause who have previously received tamoxifen for 5 years.

  • A first-line treatment for advanced breast cancer which is hormone dependent.

  • Treatment of advanced breast cancer relapse or progression of the disease for women who have artificially induced postmenopausal state, who have previously been treated by anti-estrogens.

  • Dosage of Vimara tablets

  • The appropriate dose of Vimara's tablets is determined by the doctor.

  • The recommended dose per day is a tablet of 2.5 mg once per day.

Femara Side Effects

Femara may cause some side effects, such as:
