Olfen Patch for the treatment of pain and inflammation contains the active ingredient diclofenac sodium, which is one of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory painkillers, as it works to reduce inflammation and pain at the sites of injury because it inhibits the action of cyclic enzymes responsible for the secretion of prostaglandins at the sites of injury.

Contraindications olfen patch

olfen patch is not used in the following cases:

  • Hypersensitivity to one of the components of olfen.

  • Heart disease.

  • Liver diseases.

  • Kidney disease.

  • Ulcer of the stomach, duodenum.

  • Pregnancy, lactation.

  • Children under 14 years old.

Warnings and precautions olfen

olfen 140 mg is used in the following cases only after consulting a doctor:

  • The elderly.

  • Patients with diabetes mellitus.

  • Asthmatics, stomach ulcers.

  • High blood pressure.

How to use olfen patch

  • Open the envelope and take out the sticker.

  • Make sure the envelope is tightly closed.

  • Remove the plastic cover from the adhesive side.

  • Press the patch with the palm of your hand to ensure good adhesion to the skin.

  • If necessary, use gauze or adhesive tape to fix the adhesive.

  • Moisten the adhesive with water.

  • Peel off the edge of the adhesive and gently pull it off the skin.

  • Wash the area with soap and water to remove any residue.

  • Use the patch only on healthy, uninjured skin.

  • Do not wear the patch while bathing or swimming.

  • Do not cut the adhesive.

  • Recommended dosage: One patch every 12 hours.

  • You can apply a new patch if the pain persists, a maximum of 2 patches per day.

Storage Conditions 

The olfen patch is kept at a temperature below 25 degrees Celsius, out of the reach of children
